Abandoned plans for the bomb attack were found at home suspected attackers in the shooting in the school in Austria, police said.

The police in the city of Graz also found a non-functioning tuby bomb and “forgiveness” letter and video during searches, they said in the statement.

Ten people were killed in high school attack on Tuesday – the most deadly in the recent history of the country.

The suspect, the 21-year-old student at school took his own life in the school bathroom shortly after the attack, towards the police. Authorities have not yet pulled out any conclusions on the possible motif of Gunman.

The incident, who left 11 people injured, took place at the Dreiererschützengasse high school in the northwest of the city.

Six females and three males were killed in the attack, and the seventh female later died in the hospital.

The teacher and nine students between the ages of 14 and 17 were among the victims, police said. One of the victims was a Polish citizen, while the other nine were Austrian citizens.

Three days of mourning were declared in Austria after the attack, and silence in the whole minute was held on Wednesday at 10:00 in the local time (08:00 GMT) in memory of the victims. The Austrian flag was lowered in half masts on all public buildings.

After the silence of the minute on the main square Graz, one woman, Torres, told BBC news that she knew one of the boys who died. He was 17 years old.

“I know this family for a long time, including the Son of the family and knew he attended that school. I rang immediately, ask if everything was fine. Then they are fine.

Police said that the suspect was born in Styria and lived with his single mother, who was also Austrian, in the district of Graz-Umgebung.

They added that his father, Armenian origin, did not live with them from the separation of his parents.

The current data suggest that the shooter has legally owned two rifles used in the attack – a gun and a shotgun – and had a firearm license, police said.

Gunman, who has not yet been named, did not graduate from the school, the Gerhard Carner interior minister said Tuesday.

Police also confirmed that Gunman was not known to the police before the attack.

They increased security measures around schools in the city.
