Brighton confirms the signature of the Diego Coppola defender from Hellas Verona, the second increase in Seagulls in the summer transfer window.

Coppola made 34 occurrences during the Italian flight in Italy, Hellas Verona 14. Since the end of the campaign, he finished 5 points above the area.
And Brighton Hill Coach Hurlerer is looking forward to working with Coppola, and he thinks he can improve with the wicked sea throughout his time.
“It’s exciting for the Diego Club,” Hurgelker said on Brighton’s official website.
“Although it is still young, it is high, strong and mobile and will give us a real physical presence.
“The progress has been impressive on the series and deserved his call to the Italian national team. We hope to help develop even more.”

When comparing Coppola’s 2024-25 League campaign in Lewis Dunk and Jan Paul Van Hecke, it is clear that Hurgelers will offer different strengths in defense.
Coppola had a series of 54.5% success rate, Van Hecke (64.4%) is almost 10% lower than 58.8% in Dunk.
The success rates of the three-central deck duel are very similar, with only 1.5% distinguishing the defenders.
However, the main difference is in the Interception category. Coppola intercepted 72 times the last campaign, much more than Van Hecke (24) and Dunk (13).
In fact, Coppola had more interceptions last year in the five best leagues in Europe.
