The strange sticky stars can reflect the ripples of time, which mimics the signals that we notice from black holes.

Since 2015, researchers have been learning how to see the contents of the universe by tracking not only light waves but also gravitational waves: ripples in the fabric of the universe. The researchers began to ask whether a mirror of gravitational waves could exist even. “We can have a spherical mirror, then we just need a star,” says Redondo – Yuste. But this star will need a very high viscosity, such as the cosmic equivalent of sugar molasses ball. Researchers’ accounts have shown that such a star will reflect gravitational waves because it will be very harsh to sway while passing.

In addition to the strangeness, the star should be adequately sticky to transfer the gravitational waves very pressed and very close to the collapse in a black hole. In fact, Redondo -Yuste says, the black holes themselves are incredibly sticky – to the extent that other sticky objects may look like when their gravitational wave signatures are recorded on the ground. At the same time, there can be small differences in those signatures. For example, the collision between sticky stars and collisions between black holes will produce slightly different gravitational wave signals, because the stars will have a more effect on each other.

Researchers have previously noticed the cosmic things that are believed to be high for viscosity, such as very hot neutron stars that are formed through incorpoons of other neutron stars. But whether this could become sticky enough to match the team’s sporting model yet, he says Paulo Bani At the University of Sabinza, Rome, Italy.

He says that future gravitational waves detectors can provide more detailed information about the viscosity of things that we already know how to discover – and help us search for new miracles. “This is an example of trying to expect what we should look for early,” says Kenfik.

To date, no monitoring data has given to researchers a strong reason to think about what they have identified as a black hole that is actually a strange star. The three researchers say that the chances of sticky stars at all are not high.

“But I think it is our duty to continue to conduct these tests,” says Reedoondo. It is the only way to build a complete stock of objects that fill our world.
