USDC continues to strengthen its location as the leading Stablecoin organization with an original launch on the XDC network.

Usdc goes live on the xdc network

Xdc network (xdc) Declare Today, Coin usd (USDC), Stablecoin issued by Circle, is launched on its network. Through this original launch, the USDC on XDC is not a copy or a derivative – it’s the same regulation, a digital dollar 1: 1 used in ETHEREUM (ETH) and Solana (SOL). This means that users can keep the real USDC transfer and transfer it on XDC with full support from the circle, without relying on bridges or symbols raised, which makes transportation operations safer, faster and easier to integrate into applications.

Playing this integration is Circle’s V2 series transfer protocol (CCTP V2). Instead of wrapping symbols, CCTP uses a “burning and mint” mechanism. When the user transmits the US currency from one series to another, the distinctive symbols are burned on the source chain, and are verified by the circle witness system, and the newly tearing on the destination – in this case, xdc.

The addition of XDC expands the range of the chain across the series, which enhances its role as the most widely organized stablecoin across the multiple ecosystems. USDC is already original Available on 24 networks– Including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Base, Irzi, Stars, and Polkadot.

Usdc on the XDC network follows another milestone for Stablecoin. Earlier this month, Circle Gateway launched, allowing the immediate USDC to be transferred across seven collections of the main episodes, namely arbitration, ice collapse, base, ethereum, OP Mainnet, Polygon Pos and Unichain.
