U.S. officials are discussing Greenland withdraw to the American sphere of influence using the type of agreement that the United States used that close relationships with several US officials and other people met discussions.
Under consideration of the plan, the Trump Administration would propose Greenland leaders to enter the island to the so-called compact association or cofa, with the United States.
Although the precise details of the COFA agreement – which have ever extended to small islands of Micronesia, the Marshal Islands and Palau – vary depending on the signatories, the US government usually provides many relevant services to the emergency service to military protection. In exchange, the US military operates freely in COFA countries, and trade with the United States is generally without duty.
Donald Trump, who floated the idea of acquiring Greenland during his first administration, was still harder for himself to take on the January, refusing to turn off to exclude his island by force. Denmark, which rules the island, precisely specified the idea.

Republic legislators are occasionally opposed to the budget elements assigned to fund the COFA Agreement, creating deep frustrations in the resources that rely on funds.
The signing of Cofa also does not offer a guarantee that the nation will be immune from the operations of the impact of American rivals.
Danish leaders did not access ideas and did not have significant discussions with white house on the future status of Greenland, said one senior European official. Danish officials publicly rejected the idea of the US acquiring Greenland, and insists insist in Greenlanders must determine their future.
