The US President says that the review of national museums will be similar to the one he requested for universities.

US President Donald Trump said that Smithsonian museums in the country are only discussing “terrible” issues, including “the extent of bad slavery”, as his administration continues to review the Foundation’s exhibitions about “America”.

In a post on the social truth platform on Tuesday, Trump said that Smithsonian “is out of control, as it discusses everything the extent of our country’s splendor,” including “How Non -escalating.”

Smithsonian receives most of its budget from Congress, but it is independent of the government in decision -making.
