London – Transgender women will be forbidden to play on women’s football teams in England after the Judgment of the Supreme Court in the Great Britain last month, on Thursday, said Thursday.
The football covenant said that it decided to change its rules that allowed transgender athletes to play on women’s football if they have a reduction in testosterone levels. Scottish football association brought a similar decision last week.
The highest court of the UK brought a judgment two weeks ago that defined the woman for anti-discrimination purposes as someone was born biologically female. The Chief of Vaxar for Equality and Human Rights said after the verdict for transgender women to be excluded from women’s toilets, hospital departments and sports teams.
Although the verdicts cheered up some feminist groups, it was sentenced by broadcast groups that said they would have a broad and harmful impact on everyday life.
The Fa said that his policy was to make sports as a larger number of people, but to make changes if there would be changes in the law, science or “wide football” operations.
“We understand that it will be difficult for people who simply want to play a game that they like to identify and contact registered transgender women who currently play in order to explain in the game,” he said in the statement.
It was not clear how many players would affect the policy that would take effect 1. June.
