Javier Mascherano believes Miami’s General Victory of Columbus Crew showed his side courage before his club world Cup campaign.
Without a victory in MLS (D2 L2), Miami won the last two matches, including the 5-1 victory of the crew created by Lionel Messi.
Miami’s last match was before the club world cup, where Ahly, Porto and Porteiras play the phase of the group, made the first match against Egypt on June 14th.
Victories also climbed Heronsa to the third party in the Eastern Conference, and Mascherano confessed how important it was for the confidence in the tournament.
“Winning in this way, he gives us confidence, showing us that we are brave,” said mascheran.
“Then the Club World Cup is another story. The level we face to face is much higher than we face in front of Concacaf and MLS.
