The Chinese government issued a dazzling statement on Monday, accusing Trump’s administration of undercing the ongoing trade conversation with Beijing.

The United States warned against the use of Ascend Semiconductor Chips last week, and now the Chinese Ministry of Trade says that the warning has been “seriously affected by the consensus in high levels between China and the United States in Geneva.”

Beijing is now sending a US government to “correct his mistakes.”

“This practice of using unilateral protectionism for the contents of other countries will eventually disrupt the competitiveness of the American industry, and the result can only be shooting at the foot,” statement.

The US Trade Department did not immediately answer the request for comment on the issue.

Still, administration rolled back The export rule of the Biden-era last week, potentially inserting ways for American companies to export advanced chips to certain trade partners without first searching for federal approval.
