When the higher the microchip has enabled the rescuers to find their owners, they assumed that happy gatherings would be on the cards. That was not the case.

According to ASPCI, last year, approximately one in every five dogs entering the shelter or rescue in the United States was returned to his owner. “Running in a busy street was found and someone picked up and got for safety and took to the shelter,” Castillo said Newsweek.

The staff soon revealed Molly had a microchip that contains a phone number. So they could locate their original owners.

“The owners sheltered that they gave her eight years ago, my friend, but he no longer talked to that friend,” Castillo said.

Despite some confusion because of her life situation, the odds of Molly looked after the shelter, they looked good soon. “They told the shelter that they were so excited to hear about her and that they wanted to tell her,” he said they wanted to do so, “said it wanted to,” Castillo said.

They should have picked Molly the next day. However, things did not go according to plan.

“They didn’t show up the next day, the next day after that or the day after that,” Castillo said. “Then he turned into two weeks with phone calls and emails sent to those people, and then basically alleviate the refuge.”

One veterinarian described Molly’s mouth as “complete mess.” She had to remove 11 teeth. Molly had several abscesses as well as infected gums and bones.

“She also had a rehabilitation of a 3 mm fistula, which is basically a hole in the nasal cavity that is formed from infections and rotten in the mouth,” Castillo said. “Wherever she came, she remained in a horrible state of neglect.”

All said, Moly’s treatment set the foundation of almost $ 4,000 while staying on a special kidney diet that costs $ 100 per month. It’s all worth it, just to go back to the mole to complete health.

“Molly has the best personality. It’s so quiet and sweet with a little sasso. She absolutely perfectly accrised into my home,” Castillo said.

Molly will never be placed for adoption. It will live the rest of the day as a “dog with the sanctuary” with Castill, which specializes in caring for the older psyche of the Foundation.

“Molly is so light dog,” Castillo said. “He likes to go everywhere with me in the car. In fact, I have a little cart for her to take her to the shops and she has absolute best ways!”

Castillo believes that more people need to take the ownership of the dog “seriously” and realize that they are in it for “long transport.” She said, “Dogs get old and like people and become old people come with questions, medical issues that take finances. Be prepared for it.”

In the meantime, she would persuade anyone to seek to assume the adoption of the senior dog.

“Some people say” I couldn’t because what if the dog just lives a few months? “I say, what? Even if you give that dog for a few months probably a few months ever and the best few months deserve!”
