March Madness Betting Selects: 8 Best Wounded Games Friday star-news.press/wp

Day 1 of 2025. The NCAA male tournament was light on heavy harassment and unforgettable last shots, but a few games promise today to get down on the wire.
And that is a good sign for everyone in the hope for chaos that two substrate seeds are (12-seed Colorado against 5-seed Memphis and 11 UNC seeds compared to 6-Seeds of OLE MISS) are actually in the afternoon.
Now, for choosing! As well as yesterday, we break our review in two articles: one dedicated to daily games and one dedicated to every match that is tips after 18 hours (all times ET).
Note: Betting below are Friday morning friendliness on Friday morning.
Baylor (9) vs. Mississippi State (8) Odds, Top bets, Choose
TV: CBS, 12:15
Bookmakers:
- Spread: bay +1.5 (-102); MSU -1.5 (-120)
- Moneyline: Uvala +108; MSU -130
- Total: 145.5 (O-110; U-110)
Kwoteshakers see it as a good candidate for the strictest game of the entire first round game and we agree that this is a coin. Both teams lost at least 12 matches this year as they played heavy schedules in large 12 and sexuals.
But Baylor and MSU is pending at least a few wins through the Tournament teams. Bears removed Saint John (2), Arkansas (10) and Kansas (7), while the bulls broke the Rival Ole Miss (6) and beat Texas A & M (4).
This is the coach Baylor Scott Drew’s 13. The first ore as the main bear coach, and their 10-2 minutes in such games are enough for me to take them to jail. What feels like the best game, as both teams are powerful offensive.
- Best bet: Over 145.5 (-115 in FD) – 0.5 units
- Choose: Baylor
Robert Morris (15) vs. Alabama (2) Odds, Top bets, select
TV: Trutv, 12:40
Bookmakers:
- Spread: RMU +21.5 (-110); Bama -21.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: HP +1600; Bama -4500
- Total: 166.5 (O-106; U-114)
Alabama is one of the deepest, deepest octane teams in the country, and when the tide rolls, there is no number that can’t cover.
Even if this is strictly 25 or 30 minutes, I still believe in the tide to cover in the end, even as a massive favorites. Bama, for what is worth, recently defeated Kentucky for 13 and 19 points, and at the same time he also inserted Mississippi State for 38 (!) Points at the end of February.
- Best bet: Alabama -21.5 (-102 on FD) – 1 unit
- Choose: Alabama
Lipscomb (14) vs. Iowa State (3) Odds, Best Bets, Choose
TV: TNT, 13:30
Bookmakers:
- Spread: Lip +14.5 (-110); ISU -14.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Lip +810; ISU -1450
- Total: 142.5 (O-115; U-105)
The Champ Atlantic Sun deserves a credit for downloading Kentucky and Arkansas in the noncomference of reproduction in November, but none of these matches were competitive (Bison lost in Arkansas 76-60 and Kentucky 97-68).
IU should go out with a shoulder chip in the middle of the questions that surround his chances in this tournament without Keshon Gilbert. With that in mind, I am willing (a little reluctant) to ask a ton of points with favorites in this.
- Best bet: Iowa State -14.5 (-110 in FD) – 1 unit
- Choose: Iowa Country
Colorado State (12) vs. Memphis (5) Odds, Best Bets, Choose
TV: TBS, 14:00
Bookmakers:
- Spread: CSU -1.5 (-110); MEM -1.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: CSU -105; MEM +104
- Total: 146.5 (O-114; U-106)
It is harder and harder to sneak on anyone in this tournament, which is how we get such situations, with 12 seeds of CSU as a favorite for betting over 5 seed memphis.
Remember, the 6-Seed Clemson dominated 11-seed new Mexico before the dog 2.5 points shown that sometimes these dangerous middle shirts are not exactly what they cracked. And the VCU yesterday was another good example of an exciting medium big wave not very much living on Hype.
Still, the Country Colorado strikes me as the actual offer after the end of the season on the winning stripe with 10 plays, with all these victories that come at least 8 points.
I like the wrap in what should be a fun match against 29-5 (but shortened) memphis. Tigers deal with injuries to start Hurt Tyrese Hunter (out) as well as his backup, Dante Harris.
- Best bet: CSU -1.5 (-110 on FD) – 0.5 units
- Choose: Colorado State
Mount St. Mary’s (16) vs. Duke (1) Odds, Top bets, Choose
TV: CBS, 14:50
Bookmakers:
- Spread: MSM +32.5 (-115); Duke -32.5 (-105)
- Money line *: +4000; -50000 (sketch)
- Total: 140.5 (O-105; U-115)
The Duchess (almost certainly) separated by mounting St. Mary’s.
Will the final margin be enough to cover this huge expansion? Who knows.
But I trust the Duke to lock the mountaineers, so take their team in total if you insist on having action on this.
- Best bet: Less than 53.5 (-110 in FD) – 0.5 units
- Choose: Vojvoda
Vanderbilt (10) vs.
TV: Trutv, 15:15
Bookmakers:
- Spread: van +4.5 (-115); SMC -4.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: Van +150; SMC -182
- Total: 133.5 (O-115; U-105)
This thing will be ugly and slow if st. Mary’s had his way, it’s so easy to predict.
As Gaels will be appreciated against athletic (although 8-10 in conference reproduction) the SEC team is a fair issue after their ugly loss of the first round of up to 12-seed Grand Canyon a year ago.
I’m not selling any of these teams, but I think Vandy is good enough to close this, if he doesn’t pull upset. I’ll take the commodore to cover, but Gaels for advancement.
- Best bet: Vanderbilt +4.5 (-115 on FD) – 0.5 units
- Choose: St. Mary’s
North Carolina (11) vs. OLE MISS (6) Odds, Top bets, Choose
TV: TNT, 16:05
Bookmakers:
- Spread: UNC -1,5 (-115); Miss +1.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: UNC -128; Miss +106
- Total: 155.5 (O-115; U-105)
The good news is that this is another game that should be close. The bad news is that another heavy that found a good betting angle.
The UNC fought most of the year, but played well in the last few weeks, showing the high ceiling that made them team for 9 ranked in the nation in the Pre-Season AP Top 25.
But I think that the rebels of Chris Beard trainers are physically enough to keep beds to the mild perturbation of Katran, who looked great against bad teams this year, but they fought with quality opponents this year.
- Best bet: Ole miss ml (+106 in FD) – 0.5 units
- Choose: Ole miss
Grand Canyon (13) vs. Maryland (4) Odds, Top bets, Choose
TV: TBS, 16:35
Bookmakers:
- Spread: GCU +10.5 (-106); MD -10.5 (-114)
- Moneyline: GCU +450; MD -630
- Total: 149.5 (O-115; U-105)
Derik Queen and Terps look like a force with which one needs to be counted. Grand Canyon is a dangerous opponent of the first round that plays in Lonkineck pace (adjusted tempo 71.6 possessions in 40 minutes).
Queen and colleague Maryland Big Man Julian Reese, however, should have their way (see the prominent emphasis made by the prophecies and Michigen’s front participants against the Middle Council of the taste of what GCU can expect).
This may not be a breeze from the beginning to the end for Ters, but I expect them to cover the number.
- Best bet: Maryland -10.5 (-110 on FD) – 1 unit
- Choose: Maryland
