Ukraine President Voludmir Zelinski says he spoke with US President Donald Trump, as well as other world leaders, after Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
Zelensky also confirmed that he will meet with Trump in Washington on Monday.
After publishing it on a telegram, Zelensky said he had spoken to Trump for about an hour, before European leaders joined another half an hour.
He said that writing about a telegram, “We support President Trump’s proposal to attend a tripartite meeting between Ukraine, America and Russia. Ukraine emphasizes that major issues can be discussed at the leadership level, and triple coordination is appropriate for this.
“I will discuss all the details after the killings, after the war, with President Trump in Washington on Monday. I am grateful for the invitation.”
