Pakistan and Bangladesh are expected to sign several agreements, including trade as the two countries are approaching.

“Active and stronger”

The Pakistani diplomat also also met in Bangladesin, political representatives, including those from the Islamic Group Party, who opposed Pakistan’s disintegration to establish Bangladesh in 1971.

“We have discussed how to strengthen relations with the brotherly Islamic state (Pakistan) in the coming days and how to make the regional alliance (South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation) more active and stronger,” said the deputy leader of the Islamic group Sayyid Abdullah Muhammad Tahir.

Dar Dar also met the leaders of the newly formed National Citizen Party (NCP), which led the uprising last year, as well as the leadership of the National Party Bangladesh (BNP).

On Friday, senior military commanders of both countries met in Pakistan.

One day, the Pakistani minister Khan held talks in Dhaka, where he agreed to establish joint commissions to promote trade and investment.
