The opera file a complaint to combat monopoly against Microsoft in Brazil, Allegedly It creates an unfair environment for alternative browsers to compete with the edge. The Norway -based company claims that Microsoft will make exclusive browsers pre -installed on Windows machines creates an unfair environment for alternative browsers to compete. Opera has also argued that Microsoft uses design tactics and dark patterns to increase people’s inhibition from downloading and using competing products. The Brazil’s Economic Defense Administrative Council (CADE) is required to follow up the treatments against Microsoft.

“Microsoft distracts the browser competition on Windows at each turn. First, browsers like the opera are closed from the pre -installation opportunities,” Aaron McBarlan, Opera General Adviser, said in a statement. “Then Microsoft fits users’ ability to download and use alternative browsers.”

This is not the first time that these two companies hunt.
