The proposed agreement that was sent to the school requires that it be paid to the University of California in Los Angeles one billion dollars in multiple installments, as well as the establishment of a $ 172 million claim fund for victims of the alleged violations of the seventh championship of the Civil Law, which prohibits the discrimination of employment on the basis of race, religion, sex, or national origin.

In a statement submitted to Fox News Digital, UC President James Melikin said that the university system received the document with the offer and was reviewing it.

Melikin said: “Earlier this week, we offered to engage in a good dialogue with the (Justice) section to protect the university and its critical research mission,” Melikin said. As a public university, we are a taxpayer resource, and this scale is paid that would completely destroy the greatest general university system in our country in addition to great harm to our students and all California residents.

“Americans all over this great nation depend on vital work at the University of California in Los Angeles and the UC technology and medical treatments that save lives, develop the American economy and protect our national security.”

The move came a day after California Governor Gavin New Toho Colombia Brown universities, both Ivy League schools, and Trump management.
