Bailey – to note: “Ernest Nuoma has been on Newcastle’s radar. I don’t think they’ve progressed recently but he’s available this month. I don’t think he’s on the list at any fantasy site but he’s someone who’s been keen on Newcastle.

Galatasaray Boris Alper Ilmaz has also been named as a target for the Magpieswith the Turkish club ready to sanction his £30million departure this month, with Bailly describing the potential deal as “one to keep an eye on”.

All of the above goals are 25 years, which shows that Eddie Howe are looking to bring in a young winger this month, and a new option who fits the bill in that regard has entered the frame.
