Police in the Turks and Kaikos Islands discovered the body of a man while searching for a man in New York, who disappeared during his vacation in the Caribbean Sea area late last month.
The Royal Islands Police Force said RTCIPF in a press statement that it had discovered the body of a deceased man in a “state of decomposition” after nine in the morning on Saturday, in the Grace Bay police area.
Additional partner agencies were notified, and the scene was secured, according to the police.
But RTCIPF made it clear that the body’s identity has not been created, adding that once the identification process and reporting the relatives are completed, officials will make more updates.

Acting Police Commissioner Rodney Adams, while commenting on the discovery of the body, said: “We urge family members from the public to refrain from speculation and allow the investigation process to confirm the identity through official channels.”
The investigation of the matter is still ongoing.
The news comes nearly a week and a half after Brian Tarnes, 51, from Monroe, New York, lost on June 25.

The last time Tarnes was seen leaving his buildings at about 3:30 am in The Paradise Inn in Grace Bay, and Providenciales, TURKS and Caicos, according to the young people missing from RTCIPF.
Tarrenc, who recently moved from Monroe to Manhattan, arrived at the Turks and Kaikos with his wife for a year on June 22, and planned to leave on June 29.
“The couple was facing two ordinary days, and he got out of his buildings in a very safe place, and in the middle of Grace Bay’s road.”
Davazio said that Tarnes was on the camera when he entered the city and disappeared.

“We have not heard of it since then,” he said.
Divasio said that the Turkish Police Force and Kaikos use each resource, including drone technology and CCTV to try to locate the 51 -year -old man.
