The Los Angeles County Administration has identified the three deputies who were killed in the Training Facility explosion on Friday at a training site in East Los Angeles.

The devastating explosion is one of the most bloody domestic tragedies for years.

The explosion occurred immediately after 7:30 am, claiming the life of deputies Joshua Kelly Eclond, Victor Limos and William Ospuren. Los Angeles Sharif, the three men, have been appointed to the details of the deliberate bombings in the Special Enforcement Office, and they were described as brave men who served honor, courage and a fixed commitment to protecting society and serving it.

“There are no words to express the pain and sadness we feel,” said Sharif Robert Luna. “These heroes are the best in our section, and they represent courage, integrity and non -selfish service. This is not just a tragic loss for their families, but for all of us.”

LASD issued a statement on Friday evening highlighting the history of deputies service, and each of them showed a long record of dedication, specialized training and service through highly dangerous tasks.

Detective Stephen Kelly Elleand joined LASD in 2006 but served in multiple facilities before he became a field training official at South La Station. Kelley-elund was upgraded to the detectives with the Drug Office in 2016 and worked with major investigations and arrests. He became a deliberate and explosive investigator in 2022. He survived his wife, Jessica, and their seven children.

He was also a reliable leader in a grenade technician community.

Lasd Fox News Digital officials told that the same deputies responded to a call on Thursday in a complex in Santa Monica, where they helped the local police department seize explosives.

The accident is still under investigation, and it is not clear whether the deputies are examining the explosives at the time of the explosion.
