Instead, it is satisfied with a slower and more concentrated life in Waku, Texas.
The star “Alawite Interest” maintains real matters in Lone Star State, where she lives on a modest farm, cook dinner at night and fills her home with handwritten notes, along with family photos.

The couple first gained fame in more than 10 years when they were thrown at the HGTV “Fixer Upper” series in 2013, which showed the spouses activating the dilapidated homes through their homes in Magnolia in Waku, Texas.
After five seasons, they decided to leave the show and then signed with Discovery+, starting with the Magnolia network in 2022.

Besides the network, the couple also owns the Magnolia market 5 acres in a silo, which includes stores in Silos, The Silos Baker Baker and Magnolia Press Coffee Shop. It also owns the Magnolia Table Restaurant several miles away.

They also own Magnolia Journal, and they wrote a series of lifestyle books, including “Home Body” Joanna and Chip’s “No Pain, No Gaines”. They have their own line in Magnolia, their furniture and accessories and the home line created by Joana called Heart and Hand for Target.
Chip and Joanna also opened Boutique Hotel, 1928 Hotel, in 2023, after renewing a historic hotel in Waku with 33 rooms. The pair also offers holiday rents in Waco, including Hillcrest Estate and Hillcrest Cottage, the original property transportation home.
