Pep Guardioles will certainly improve Manchester City on Saturday’s 2-0 failure on Tottenham after 2-0 failure.
The city started a new Premier League season 4-0 won the Wolves last Saturday. However, Brennan Johnson and Joao Palhinha were beaten in the home camp in the house of the campaign, after a giant James Trafford goalkeeper, Tottenham gave him well-deserved victory.
Guardila has failed 10 in Tottenham’s hands. Only Liverpool managed the city’s leader since he took it in 2016.
The performance of the city was unlikely to contrast the impatience of demonstration they produced in Molineux, but Guardila expressed optimism despite failure.
“This season was a lot of construction against Spurs’s game and he marked humans as in the past from Brentford,” Guardioles said.
“You have to play in a different way. We talked about that.
“We’ve lost simple things. I never asked for extraordinary things to play.
“The first was the effort to run and that was extraordinary for many years.
“I have no doubt. In last year’s season, we didn’t get it, but we were really good in training.
“At pressure, we lost easy things and then we create enough options, but it happened, it’s football.
“It’s just the second game. The last game against the wolves, everyone said everything is well and I said that’s the only game and a lot will happen.
“I know how we are doing and what players do. There are a lot of good things, but we need to improve.
“We will get better steps and make more connections.”
