United President Donald Trump ordered the removal of the Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, amid calling for fraud in mortgage.

In a message published on social media on Monday evening, Trump said that Cook is being excluded “immediately”, according to his powers under the United States Constitution and Federal Reserve Law of 1913.

Quoting the allegations made by the federal mortgage organizer in the United States last week, Trump said that there is “sufficient reason for the belief that you may have made wrong statements about or more mortgage agreements.”

“The federal reserve bears a tremendous responsibility for determining interest rates and regulating reserve banks and members,” Trump said in the letter, which was shared on the social truth platform.

“The American people must be able to fully confidence in the sincerity of the members assigned to put politics and supervise the federal reserve. In light of your deceptive and criminal behavior that is likely to be in a financial issue, they cannot have such confidence in your integrity.”

On Friday, Trump threatened to shoot Cook, which was appointed by former President Joe Biden, if he did not resign.

Trump’s exceptional move to raise more questions about the independence of the US Central Bank, which was subjected to severe pressure from Trump to low interest rates.

In a letter addressed to the American Public Prosecutor Bam Bondi and the official of the Justice Ministry of Justice, Ed Martin earlier this month, the director of the Federal Housing Agency, Bill Polly, a powerful ally of Trump, claimed that Cook had listed two properties in her primary home.

The federal reserve did not immediately respond to Al -Jazeera’s request for comment.
