Berlin – Temporary Results confirmed that the main conservatives who led Friedrich Merz won in the National Election of Germany, while the end right party rose in another second.
The campaign was dominated by caring for stagnation of the largest European economy and pressure to combat migration, something that caused friction after Merz severely pushed in the last weeks for harder access. It took place against the background of growing insecurity over the future of Ukraine and Europe of the Alliance with the United States.
The results published by the election authority showed Merz’s Christian Democrats and social Democrats in the Center who won the combined majority in national legislation after small parties failed.
It gives the Merz the best chance to become the next chancellor of the earth. He said on the election night to hope that he would form the government at the latest.
He turned off the coalition with the far straight alternative for Germany or AFD, which is now the second largest party in the country after the best shows ever.
For now, going off Chancellor Olaf Scholz, whose Social Democratic Party has suffered a stabbing defeat, will remain.
Merzov Conservatives won 208 seats in the Bundestag 630 seats, while the Afd won 152. The three sides lost the seats, with SDP at 120 seats and greenery in the coalition, failed to reach 5% votes needed to conquer the seat.
Left fun has 64 seats, while the left wing of the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance entered only 5% of the obstacles.
AFD was Julbatan on Sunday night, with leaders who promise to become the main side of the country in the next choice as his appeal is spreading. Against the immigrant, the Far Right Party was founded as a significant political force in 12 years, because it was established, but it is not yet part of any state or national government.
This is the result of what is often called “firewall” against the alternative to Germany. Other parties say that they will not work with AFD, which is observing the domestic intelligence agency for the suspects of the right-winger, something that Afd subjects strongly. Its branches in three eastern countries are marked “proven right-hand extremists”, which are particularly sensitive given the German Nazi past.
The elections took place seven months earlier than the originally planned after Scholz’s unpopular coalition crashed in November, three years in an expression that was increasingly evaluated by lavishing. There was widespread dissatisfaction and not much enthusiasm for any of the candidates.
Merz told Sunday night that his main priority is to unite Europe faced the challenges coming from the US and Russia. I Vice President JD Vance and Trump Ally Elon Musk openly supported Afd.
“I have no illusions at all about what is happening from America,” he said supporters. “See recent interventions in the German Election campaign by Mr. Elon Musk.”
He added that “Washington interventions are less dramatic and drastic and in the end of the interventions we have seen from Moscow. So we are under such a huge pressure from the two sides that my absolute priority is now really creating unity in Europe.”
Germany is the most populated country in the European Union from 27 Nations and the leading member of NATO. Ukrainian second largest weapon supplier, after the US, will be central to form a continent response to the challenges in the coming years, including the confrontation and trade policy of the Trump Administration.
The conservative leader said that “the most important thing is to be established to be a sustainable government in Germany as fast as possible.”
“I’m aware of the responsibility,” Merz said. “I am also aware of the scale of the task that now lies in front of us. I’m approaching it with the greatest respect and I know it won’t be easy.”
“The world is not waiting for us and is not waiting for long-term coalition talks and negotiations,” he said the fan supporters.
