Stablecoin teacher, a genius law, can be on the Trump office by the weekend.
The main Stablecoin legislation has finally obtained a procedural green light, but with no support from Democrats. On Wednesday, July 16, the US House of Representatives voted 215-211 for progress in the genius law. If the law succeeds in the next vote, it may reach President Donald Trump’s office before the weekend.
In addition to the legislation related to Stablecoins, legislators also agreed to push the law of the digital assets market forward. The alleged clarity law will provide a comprehensive framework for regulating digital assets. Specifically, the judicial states are determined between the Securities and Stock Exchange Committee and the commodity futures trading committee.
The procedural law, which allowed discussion on the legislation to continue, obtained support from Republican representatives after resolving internal differences. Before voting, President Donald Trump stated that the main legislators agreed to support the bill. However, a single democratic actor did not support the proposal to move forward.
