Standard rains are expected to continue to throw parts of South Korea until Monday, when more warnings are issued to the public.

The authorities said that four people were confirmed by at least two others, as heavy rains continued in South Korea for a fourth consecutive day, forcing thousands of their homes and livestock in the growing flood water.

On Saturday, the authorities warned that up to 250 mm (9.8 inches) of additional rains may decrease throughout the day, raising fears of more damage and losses, according to the reports of the official news agency in the country.

The rain is expected to continue until Monday in some areas, and the weather officials urged extreme caution of the risks of landslides and floods, with warnings of most South Korea.

The Ministry of the Interior said that more than 2,800 people are still unable to return to their homes among a total of more than 7,000 people who have been evacuated in recent days.

The ministry added that the rains since Wednesday reached a record of more than 500 mm (about 20 inches) in South Chonghong, South Chonghong Province, located in the south of the capital, Seoul.

According to Yonhap, the regions of the country have received 40 percent of the average annual rainfall in the past four days.

Among those reported was the person who suffered from a heart attack inside a water -flooded vehicle on a road in Siosan. The man was transferred to a nearby hospital, but he died later, and officials were transferred by Yonhap as saying.

A man was found in his eighties dead in the bottom floor that was overwhelmed by the water in his home, while a third person died when a wall held on a mobile vehicle collapsed. Officials said another dead person was found in a course. Two people are missing in the southwestern city of Guangjo.

In Chonghong Province, the cows were desperate to keep their heads over the water after rain water was flooded.

Yonhap also reported a total of 729 cases of damage to a general infrastructure, including water flooded and river facilities collapsed. She added that private property damage reached more than 1,000, including 64 buildings that were flooded and 59 of the submerged agricultural lands.
