Newcastle has signed £ 55 million on Nottingham Forest Anthony Enganga.
The 23-year-old Swedish international is the latest additive to Eddie Howe’s quads for Magpies for their Champions League campaign.
ELANGA had 2024-25 spectacular season under Nuno Espirito Santo, registering six goals and 11 competition competitions.
His arrival is expected to strengthen the attack of Newcastle before a busy schedule in the home and Europe.
“I’m glad Anthony welcomes Newcastle United”, Eddie Howe said on the official Club website.
“It has been a key goal for us to assure at the beginning of the previous section. It is an exciting talent, with attributes that turn to a unique threat. It will consolidate us with the ability to achieve the rhythm, energy and goals.”
Enganga, surprised by his two years, also showed up his excitement when joining Magpies.
“I am ready to put on the top of the black and white to fight for this group and to live and breathe for football and breathe everything.
“I’ve had two wonderful years in Nottingham in the woods, I helped me play a player today, but I’m glad I’ll be here here.
“The club won the trophy during the last season and something special, something special I want to take part.
“I really want to buy it in culture, DNA in this club. I’m very happy here and I can’t wait to start.”
Enganga signed in the forest in 2023 by Manchester United for a 15-year fee, received a five-year agreement.
It was originally entered at the United Academy at the age of 12 and won 55 senior appearances before going to the city’s ground.
While the forest was expected to adhere to the 23-year-old, they accepted Newcastle’s offer.
