Menendes, along with his brother Lille, has been 35 years of life sentence to shoot their parents.

Eric Menendes has refused to make a conditional release, more than 30 years after he and his brother’s night were killed at the luxurious Beverly Hills home.

The California Committee ordered the 54 -year -old to stay in prison on Thursday, and a long campaign launched by family, friends and celebrities such as Kim Kardashian challenged.

A summary statement issued by the Ministry of Reform and Rehabilitation (CDCR) said: “Eric Menendes has been refused to make a conditional release for a period of three years in the initial initial hearing today.”

The result will be a major blow to the movement that has been swollen in recent years, nurtured by documentaries and television drama, including Smash Netflix Hit Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Manendez Story.

Eric Menendes told the Conditional Release Council that Thursday’s session was 36 years old, and a day after his family taught his parents’ deaths.

“My father was more terrifying,” Mindez said during the 10 -hour hearing when he was asked why he did not leave the house instead of committing a murder.

“When I look at the person I was then and what I believe in the world and my father, the escape was unimaginable,” he said.

Denial of the conditional release comes on the day when Lyle Mendez, 57, will appear in front of a committee to ask them to release him from prison.

“This is a tragic issue,” said Conditional Release Commissioner Robert Barton after the decision was issued. “I agree that not only two, but four people, lost in this family.”

More than ten relatives have seen saying that they forgave the Mindez brothers, as they became known, and they claim to release them.

Celebrity criminals turned

Men are among the most famous United States prisoners, and one of the first televised killing trials ever.

The jurors in the 1990s were informed of how men Jose and Kitie Mindez were killed, while prosecutors said it was a satirical attempt to obtain a large family fortune.

After preparing alibis and trying to cover their paths, ERIK and Lyle shot the Manendez five times with guns, including in the knee.

Kitty Mindez died of a rifle explosion, as she tried desperate to crawl from her killers.

The brothers initially blamed the deaths for a mafia strike, but they changed their story several times in the following months.

Eric, 18, admitted to killing in a session with his treatment.

The couple finally claimed that they acted in self -defense after years of emotional and sexual assault at the hands of the tyrant father.
