The Brazilian Football Confederation stated: “The arrival of Davide Ancelotti to the national team is another step in CBF to search for innovation and technical improvement.
“International experience and training methodologies will be essential for the development of players and even a more competitive group.
“CBF welcomes Davide Ancelotti and will be important to strengthen his presence towards the purposes of the National National Selection of Brazil.”
Carlo Ancelotti was named Brazilian head coach on a one-year agreement after leaving Madrid Real May.
