The relief group says that the worker was killed by the Israeli army in the attack on the Gaza headquarters star-news.press/wp

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) accused the Israeli forces of attacking its headquarters in the Gaza Strip, killing one worker and wounding three others.

The humanitarian organization said the attack “set fire to the building” early on Sunday.

Describing the attack overnight on the facility in the southern city of Khan Yunis as “deliberate”, PRCS said that the location of its headquarters is “well -known” for the Israeli army and was “clearly marking with the protective red logo.”

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) told the British Broadcasting Corporation that it had been declining the prosecution that the PRCS building had been damaged and that “individuals in the Khan Yunis area had been harmed as a result of the Israeli Defense Army strike.”

A video clip shared by PRCS on social media showed parts of the building on the fire and full of smoke withdrawal, while images of antiquities showed great damage to the building and many large blood stains.

In a statement, the Relief Agency said, “shortly after midnight, the Israeli artillery was directly hit the upper floors of the building.

“Since the PRCS teams were evacuating the employees and losing the damage, the second floor was hit again, followed by the direct bombing of the ground floor – specifically while the rescue teams were fighting the fire caused by the bombing.”

PRCS, the murdered worker, allowed the name of Omar Isleem and said he was “saddened” over his death. She said that two other workers were injured, as well as a civilian who was trying to put out the fire. The agency said the building was “clearly distinguished” with its logo.

“This was not a mistake,” added PRCS. “We renew our call for accountability and protect all humanitarian employees and medicine.”

The Relief Agency said that since the beginning of the war, “Israel has been killed 51 employees and volunteers in Gaza, including 29 people who lost their lives while performing humanitarian duties.”

The United Nations Office for Human Rights expressed his “deep shock and anger at the ongoing killings of emergency workers in Gaza” and urged an independent investigation.

This incident comes with the growth of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

On Sunday, the Gaza Ministry of Health in Hamas said that at least 104 people were killed by Israel’s military attack during the past 24 hours. The ministry said 65 people were killed for assistance.

The latest figures from the United Nations indicate that at least 1373 Palestinians have been killed in food since late May.
