A 18 -year -old woman died and seven other people were injured in a collective stabbing in an indigenous community in Canada.

The suspect also died in an attack on Thursday in the first Nations community in Manitoba, according to the Royal Canadian police (RCMP).

The accident occurred in Holo Water Verses, a nation, about 200 km (124 miles) northeast of Winbeig.

The police said the suspect was fleeing the scene when he died in a vehicle collision with the RCMP policeman, who was seriously injured.

One victim’s family said he woke up in the middle of the night, and was stabbed in the trunk.

Investigators said that the woman who was killed was the sister of the suspect, and that the man was “known to the police” previously.

At a press conference, the Federal Police Force said that the officers were at the site in Holo Water Virins, and they were “still heading home to make sure that society is safe and also ensuring that there are no other victims.”

RCMP said: “Our sincere condolences for all within the community of the hollow nation for the first water, and everyone who has been affected by this meaningless act of violence.”

The police said that they had been called for the first time to society at 03:45 local time on Thursday, after the tribal security officer reported that the attacks had occurred 30 minutes ago.

The suspect, Terron Semard, 26, fled in a stolen car and appeared to be heading towards Wenipeg when he collided with the police car.
