My thoughts are with those injured and influencing today’s attack on a group meeting a week at Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall to call the hostage edition in Gaza.
From what we know, this attack is a crime from hatred with regard to a group that was targeted. I was in contact with Michael Doughert’s District Lawyer, and offered support in the Office of the Prosecution.
People can have different views on world events and conflict of Israeli Hamas, but violence is never a response to addressing differences. Hatred has no place in Colorado. We all have the right to the peaceful compilation and freedom of speech of our attitudes. But these violent acts – which become more common, brazured and closer to home – must stop them and those who commit these terrible works must be fully kept fully kept on account.
