The Chinese Ministry of Security has warned that foreign agents use encryption plans to collect sensitive vital data, including iris tests, which poses a threat to both personal privacy and national security.

Local port I mentioned global times Wednesday that the ministry has identified the increasing risks associated with biotechnology.

She said that recent cases showed that foreign intelligence agencies illegally reap face data from individuals targeting spy activities inside China.

The ministry did not specify specific companies, but the description of the scheme is closely reflected in the model that the world uses.

The China Ministry says that the coding code incentives used to collect iris data

World, previously known as WorldCOIN, offers distinctive codes for encryption in exchange for user tests. The company claims that surveying helps to verify the unique identity of the user and enable digital financial access, especially in the disadvantaged markets. However, the world has not been explicitly named in MSS consultations.

Cryptonews has communicated with the world to comment on it.

The Ministry described a case in which a foreign company uses the issuance of coded currency codes as an excuse to wipe the iris data and collect it from users all over the world. Then this data was transferred abroad, according to the statement, raising the red flags of national and individual security.

Officials link the leakage of biometric data to the threats of national security

The Ministry indicated that biometric identification techniques have gained a rapid traction in recent years. These systems are used for their speed and accuracy, collecting and treating facial features, fingerprints, iris movements and even body movements. While these tools provide comfort, the ministry warned that the risk of data leakage and poor use has grown significantly.

Officials were martyred in cases where foreign spies falsified biometric information to access the classified materials or infiltrate sensitive workplaces. In another example, the fingerprint -related fingerprint system has been violated repeatedly due to the ranged cyber security, which led to the main data leakage.

Moreover, the ministry said that the iris patterns are especially sensitive. It is very stable and is almost impossible to repeat, making it valuable for ratification in high security environments. The ministry said that their uniqueness makes them a major goal for the harmful actors.

China warns citizens against checking the practices of biometric data

The warning comes as biometric systems continue to expand in sectors ranging from financing to border monitoring. In this context, the ministry urged the public to stay careful when delivering vital data, especially for services that include face, fingerprints, or iris.

The statement said that citizens have the right to request data collectors to explain how to store, process and use personal information. The Ministry also advised individuals to carefully review privacy policies and stay on alert to obtain signs of excessive data collection.

Although the ministry has declined to propose new regulations, its data reflects the increasing discomfort in the security establishment in China regarding the convergence of digital identity technologies and the transfer of data across borders.
