On Sunday, Morgan Freeman presented a segment on academic awards, who is honorary actors and filmmakers who died over the past year, including Gene Hackman, James Earch Jones, David Lynch and Maggie Smith.
Noticeably absent from that line were late stars like Michelle Trachtenberg, Shannen Doherty and Tony Todd, and the fans took over X, earlier Twitter, to call a mistake.
“No Michelle Trachtenberg ??? No Shannen Doherty ??? No Tony Todd ???? I’m sick # Oscars2025,” Read one viral message divided on the platform @horrorsthetics.
At the time of the publication, the post office mitigated over 900,000 views and more than 52,000 likes.
