A Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft heading to London with 242 people on a residential area, moments after being taken off from Ahmed Abad in western India.

“This is a difficult day for all of us in Air India, and our efforts are now focusing on the needs of our passengers, crew members, their families and our loved ones,” said Campbell Wilson, CEO of the carrier company, in a video posted on social media.
