What is it for you
Sixteen Startups/SMEs (including University Spin-offs) will be selected for a distribution Two -minute pitch To visitors to public and private investors, policy makers and potential partners (including corporations, researchers and civil society organizations).
Successful calluses will receive an appropriate reward to help de-rust and their initiatives-for example, intellectual property, business and go-to-market plan, marketing, research and development scaling, or production and production processes. They will also be Sponsor to take part Event in Brussels.
Who is it for?
Applicants should concentrate toward international cooperation with Africa and/or Mediterranean region, combine with the priorities of research and innovative cooperation below:
- Public health (4 Startups/SME): How can your invention improve public health in Europe and/or Africa and/or Mediterranean regions?
- Green Transformation: How do your innovation (a) improve food protection and farming, or (b) to stop climate change and encourage Europe and/or Africa and/or to encourage green transformation in the Mediterranean region?
- A) Food and Nutrition Protection and Sustainable Agriculture (2 Startups/SMEs)
- B) renewable energy, climate change and durable/renewable energy (2 startups/SME)
- Innovation and technology (4 Startups/SME): How does your innovation improve the innovation and technology in Europe and/or Africa and/or the Mediterranean region?
- Capacity (4 Startups/SME): How does your invention strengthen the invention, entrepreneur and/or research ecosystem in Europe and/or Africa and/or Mediterranean regions?
Applicants can apply to pitch irrespective of the stage, regardless of their startup/SME.

Submit the expression of your interest By 24 Aug 2025 (Midnight CEST)The A brief description of your invention, the challenge you address, include your traction and support that will help you to scale. Please make sure that all the questions have been fully answered and all the required documents are attached.

About innovation fair
This pitching will take place as part of the Innovation Fair, which will be a breakthrough event for the lively celebration of research and eye cooperation between Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean region. It identifies the ongoing implementation of the original multilateral regional policy initiative: The AU EU innovation agendaImpending New deal for the MediterraneanAnd Mediterranean R&I Roadmaps.
The Innovation Fair will have multiple pitchs in the morning and an exhibition of innovative solutions in the afternoon, where about 500 presence is present on the site. The pitchers will have the opportunity to network and exchange in full rooms for key R&I stakeholders, investors and seniors.

Innovation Fair will be evaluated by a task force from the Organizing Team, with its representatives Africa – Europe Innovation Platform (AIP), Strengthen European and African digital ecosystems (Devotee)AU-EU High-level Policy Dialogue on Science, Technology and Innovation and the AU-EU Innovation Agenda Working Group on the Union of the Mediterranean Union.
Two original events – behind the back!
The annual ceremony of the Africa-Europe Innovation Platform (AIP) is organizing, Bridging Continent by innovation: Africa-Europe Innovation Dialogs, A day before the innovation fair, October 22, in Brussels, Belgium. AIP is a horizon Europe project that encourages African-Europe research and innovation cooperation.
Successful calls will also be invited to these innovative dialogues, where they can meet with other stakeholders from African and European policy makers, civil society, incubators, accelerators and many more. They will also get first hand information about AIP platforms and activities, such as training opportunities, partnership construction, networking, etc.
