Judi Weinstein Haggai, 70, who was a Canadian citizen, and her husband Gadi Haggai, 72, killed Gunmen from the group of Mujahideen Brigade when they attacked Kibbutz Nir Oz, stated in the statement.
Their bodies were found in South Khan Younis from Gaza overnight and returned to Israel for forensic identification.
It is now 56 hostages that still hold Hamas in Gaza, of which at least 20 believe they are alive.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he and his wife sent condolences to the families of Judi and Gadi Haggai.
“Our hearts mourn for this horrible loss. May their memories be blessed,” he added.
“I would like to thank and express gratitude, fighters and commanders for this determined and successful surgery. We will not rest, nor will we keep quiet, until we return home all our hostages – live and deceased.”
The pair families reminded how they “went out for a walk in the morning and damn Saturdays and never returned.”
“We welcome the closure and return to the appropriate bury at home, in Israel,” the statement said.
Hostacco and missing family forum called on decision makers to do everything they can arrange a new ceasefire with Hamas to ensure the return of all remaining hostages.
“There is no need to wait another 608 agonizing days for that,” which is the said statement. “The mission can end up tomorrow morning. That’s what most of the Israeli people want.”
Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to an unpredicted cross-border attack sooner in almost 20 months, in which about 1,200 people were killed, and 251 others were innate as a hostage.
At least 54,607 people were killed in Gaza, according to the territorial Ministry of Health, Terrace Run.
