Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff dismisses the Starmer plan for Ukraine star-news.press/wp

Sir Keir Starmer’s plan for international force to support the recircistvy fire in Ukraine is rejected as “Support and Power” Special Envoy Donald Trump.
Steve Witkoff said the idea based on the “simplified” concept of the Prime Minister of Great Britain and other European leaders think “We all have to be like Winston Churchill.”
In an interview with Pro-Trump Journalist Tucker Carlson, Witkoff praised Vladimir Putin, saying that he “liked” Russian presidents.
“I don’t consider Putin as a bad guy,” he said. “He’s super smart.”
Witkoff, who met Putin ten days ago, said Russian president was “merciful” and “straight” with him. Putin told him, he added that he prayed for Trump after attempting assassination against him last year. He also said that Putin picked up the portrait of the American president as a gift, and Trump “clearly touched him.”
During the interview, Witkoff reiterated various Russian arguments, including that Ukraine was a “false country” and asked when the world would recognize the occupied Ukrainian territory as Russian.
WITKOFF leads to negotiations on the ceasefire of the United States and with Russia and in Ukraine, but is unable to appoint five regions of Ukraine or attached or partially occupied by Russian forces.
He said, “The biggest question in that conflict are these so-called four regions, Donbas, Crimea, you know the names and there are two more.”
Five regions – or areas – Su Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Crimea. Donbas refers to the industrial region in the east involving a lot of Luhansk and Donetsk.
WITKOFF has made several claims that are not true or disputed:
- They said that Ukrainian troops were surrounded by the coat, something was rejected by Ukraine government and unprepared by any open source data
- He said that four partially occupied regions of Ukraine held “referendums where the huge majority of the people indicate that they wanted to be under Russian rule.” There were a referendum only in some of the occupied parts of Ukraine at different times, and methodology and results were broadly discredited and disputed
- He said four partially occupied areas were Russian. There are many parts in Ukraine Russian speaking, but it has never indicated support for Russia.

WITKOFF also reiterated several cremlers who speak points about the cause of full invasion in Russia. He said “right” that they were from the Russian perspective, a partially occupied territories, is that they can admit into account in this regard. Will the world admit that the world is admitted that these are Russian territories? “
He added: “It is in Russia that Ukraine is just a fake country, that they were only patched in this mosaic, these regions, in my opinion, that Russia had excluded by the Second World War, and that is something no one wants to talk about.”
Putin repeatedly said that “the root causes” of his invasion were the threat of Russia who took over the expanded NATO and purely existence of Ukraine as an independent country.
Witkoff said UTUcker Carlson interview: “Why do they want to absorb Ukraine? For what purpose? No need to absorb Ukraine … They regained five regions. They got what they want.” So why do they need more? “
He asked about the plans of Keir Starmer to ensure the “coalition of the willing” to ensure the post-war Ukraine, “I think it is a combination of installation. That is in March. NATO did not have in the Second World War.”
He said that the truce in the Black Sea “will be implemented in the next week or so” and “we are not far” from the full 30-day cessation of fire.
He also gave details about how Trump wanted to cooperate with Russia after relations were normalized. “Who doesn’t want to have a world where Russia and the United States are doing together, thinking about how to integrate your energy policies in the Arctic, share sea lines, maybe together to send themselves to Europe, maybe together cooperate on and together?”
