
Sudan runs the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing that Sudanese paramilitary fasteners (RSF) in the civil war.
Khartoum claims that the UAE “participant in the genocide” of the Masalite community, in West Darfur, through its military, financial and political support for RSF.
In response, the UAE strongly rejected Sudanese allegations, referring the case “cascade cynical publicity” and saying to seek immediate dismissal.
Since the war began in April 2023. year, and the RSF and the Sudan Army were accused of committing crimes.
The RSF was accused of committing genocide in Darfur – against non -pressed groups in the region.
According to the AFP Agency, Sudan’s submission says, “United Arab Emirates burns the rebellion and supports the militia that committed the crime of genocide in Western Darfur.
“The United Arab Emirates must complete the full reparation for injuries caused by his international mis-acts, including the payment of compensation to the victims of the war.”
The unnamed UAE official officer said that “the allegations presented by the SAF representative in SMEs lack any legal or factual basis, which is another attempt to distract from this calamity war.”
The UN experts who follow the Embargo weapons on Darfur have previously described the charges of smuggling UAE in RSF through Chad as credible.
The ICJ advisory opinion is not legally binding, but still carries significant political weight.
Almost a two-year war ravaged Sudan, with tens of thousands of killed, and over 12 million people were displaced, stimulating one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
Earlier this week, hard shelling at the camp for displaced people in the north of Dafur left dozens of people who were afraid of the dead.
The full market in Abu Shouk, the camp on the outskirts of the city of El-Fasher, was attacked for about two hours on Tuesday evening, the local official said.
