The police said that one of the gunmen shot five people in a famous new food market in the Thai capital on Monday before killing himself.

Among the victims were the security guards in the Orb Kor market in Catuchak County in Bangkok, according to the police statement. The Erawan Medical Center, which coordinates medical emergency services, also reported that two women were injured.
