Hamas welcomed the comment of the American President Donald Trump that Palestinians would not be expelled from Gaza.
Why is it important

“No one expel on no Palestinean,” Trump told Wednesday in response to the question of journalists in Gaza, after a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Michen Martin in the White House.
The spokesman for Hamas greeted the comment.

They are now with Egypt and Qatar, playing a key role mediation in the truce between Hamas and Israel. The break-up agreement was reached in January and included several phases of implementation.
The first phase, during which the Israeli hostages were released in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, expired in March. The tensions between Israel and Hamas escalated again in the past week, increasing the return risks in Gaza, which was devastated since Hamas launched the attack from 7. October to Israel.
