For some, the violence that followed in CAMP Sovereignty explained the basic intentions of the event.

“The gathering around migration was never, but rather an excuse to review the ideas of white superiority in Australia,” said Elo Diaz of the center against racist stereotypes.

The sovereign protest site CAMP occupies the “Kings” area in central Melbourne in central Melbourne.

The alleged police in Naarm Frontline Medics, a volunteer medical group, reached the camp only after the attackers fled, and claimed that the officers “came to spray pepper domain on the victims of the attack, not the attackers.”

Victoria police confirmed that they had not made any arrests on the site.

The threat of “global networks”

NSN did not respond to Al Jazeera requests for comment.

Telegram channel shows the group multiple videos showing members training in combat technologies and chanting “white men fighting”, a content that is also promoted via their TIKTOK accounts and the official website.

The camp’s attack highlighted concerns among some regarding the selective condemnation of extreme right -wing violence from official institutions in Australia.

Gillian Seagal, a special envoy in Australia to combat anti -Semitism, who was appointed to lead efforts against anti -Semitic measures in Australia, was not affected after a statement dealing with the new Nazi violence.
