From the muscles to the heart: what makes us after the AI revolution

. Then the industrial revolution came. The machines begin to replace physical labor and the intelligence price and IQ have increased sharply.

Today, we are at the doorstep of another shift: AI is becoming more intelligent than humans. Understandably, many are concerned. Above all, intelligence has become defined in our species. But should it be?

I believe it is time to rewrite the fact that it really separated us.

AI may soon surpass human intelligence, but despite widespread frustration, I’m not ready to miss the sticks yet. It may be, as we have done during the Industrial Revolution, we keep a lot of value on the importance of our intelligence, when we all keep something more powerful and less replicated by technology: sensitive intelligence.

From IQ to AQ: Rewrite our human edge

As we have once considered the value of physical labor, we can now be an additional index about intellect. It is right that the next border will not be cognitive; It will be sensitive. Sensitive intelligence, often defined by features like sympathy, insight and belief-building, goes into harder and becomes stronger than cognitive skills in different ways. These powers are human distinct in an AI-dominated age.

I don’t want to reduce the impact of technical revolutions. The Industrial Revolution has eliminated countless jobs and this time will probably not be different. Data inputs, administrative work or other repeated, automatic activities will end many entry-level professional roles, as AI gives a simple and cheap solution. However, I fundamentally believe in human adaptable. We have always found ways to adapt and add value and we will do this time again by leaning towards our sensitive and related energy.

Facility of human connection

Of course, we need to admit that AI is already able to duplicate sensitive results. Supporters and seemingly universal third-party support solve real-world problems, with meaningful conversations, people connect AI. However, anyone who has used AI as a consultant knows that the advice can sometimes be shallow or worse, dangerously misguided. Unlike humans, AI cannot be held accountable in the same way, or it does not really understand the summary of living experiences.

Furthermore, AI reflects trained data. It is too much of a very leaning towards the mainstream view, often mirrors of its manufacturers’ bias. It makes the original thoughts, retro -points and disruptive innovations in favor of achieving AI. (It was said that the models could vary as it developed but the restriction is real now)

Although this is the current state of the game, we cannot predict how AI will develop over time. What we know is that people are always better in understanding other people. AI can process information, but it does not observe the world. It does not survive through experience or does not apply personal insights to help others. Most of the human understanding comes from information, sympathy and connection, not just from information, emotional main features, not counting.

EQ

Sum

This transfer from IQ to EC will give the labor market a new size. For example, it will grow up to size how companies hire. Sensitive intelligence, once seen as ‘to stay well’, will become a key skill. The ability to create faith, clearly communicate and relate to others will now be more valuable than the work that can be automatically done. Although it is already visible in a senior role, it will also expand in the junior position, the roles that were valuable to be previously executed. And with the increase in the need for connection across the culture, generation and background, we will probably see more diverse and inclusive workforce, it is a one that reflects the complexity of the world we are creating for.

What really distinguishes from our machines is our ability to connect, relate and care. If we look for silver lining in AI transitions it is: We have the ability to re -invent our own again. It can be the power and muscle leading the heart through sensitive intelligence that we can lean next to the next, or perhaps any other hidden human features that we have not yet fully appreciated. By the way, we will find it.
