Softbank’s profits for the quarter from April to June reached 421.8 billion yen ($ 2.87 billion), with LSEG consensus estimates of 127 billion yen.

This is the second profit of the group’s profit for the group and a sharp reflector of the 174.28 billion yen losses that it published in the same period a year ago.

The Japanese giant announced on Thursday that the value of its vision funds increased 4.8 billion dollars, and it is its largest gain since June 2021.

The profit for the vision funds sector, which also captures factors such as expenses, reached 451.4 billion yen in the first financial quarter ending in June, a reflection of losses in the same period last year.
