Gates, the American fighter and the Canadian fighting for the North America Air Defense Command (North America), has a exercise on Alaska, near the Russian border.

The exercises were conducted on July 10 near the small Destidi island in Alaska, located in the Pering Strait between the main mainland Alaska and the Russian Al -Aqsa East. The remote island is 2.4 miles from the large island of Destidy in Russia, which is located on the other side of the international history line.

Why do it matter

Formed by the United States and Canada, NORAD provides space warning, controlling flying, and maritime warning to defend North America – including discovering and warning attacks against the continent, whether by planes, missiles or spacecraft.
