Jurgen Klopp Slams Club World Cup ‘the worst idea’ and claims players are worth the time star-news.press/wp

Jurgen Klopp has hit the World Club World Cup, called “the worst idea ever taken in football”.

Former Director Liverpool won the championship with the Club in 2019, under its old format, the updated version puts unnecessary burden to higher players.

This victory, the first in the Liverpool competition, came when the tournament was a smaller event. Now, a new version of the group 32 has only started two weeks after the Champions League final and has already reached the last 16 phase.

Liverpool is not involved this time, unlike Chelsea and Manchester city, and Klopp recognizes that it has been relieved.

He spoke to German Outlet Welt: “The world’s world cup is the worst idea in football in that sense. People who have never done everyday businesses create ideas.

“I understand: but there are wonderful amounts of money to participate. But that’s not for all the clubs. Last year it was the round of the Club World Cup, and next year’s World Cup.

“This does not for players who mean real recovery, not physically mentally. Obviously, everyone earns a lot of money. But let’s ignore it for a moment.”

Klopp stated the dumptive toll on the health of the players using Virgil van Dijk as an example.

“A player who earns a lot of money every year. Van Dijk does not have this throughout his career. Championships like the club world could not play players, but I have a serious fear.”

The tournament will last until July 13, which will be five weeks before the city and clubs like Chelsea on August 16th Start Premier League season.

Klopp has believed that congested programs can create important issues.

“We are constantly telling them as if it were the last to go to every game. We tell them 70 or 75 times a year. But it cannot continue.”

He added that the quality of the game he could have declined if nothing changes.

“We need to make sure that they don’t have to make sure, they will not be able to give the long term in the long run, and if they can’t do more, the whole product loses value for vendors,” he said.

After Liverpool Leaving for almost a decade, Klopp has taken a new role as the Red Bull Sporting Global Sporting Director, where the football club supervises the network.
