The chaos erupted in a peaceful protest in Salt Lake City during the weekend when the shooting came out during the “No Kings” demonstration, sending two people to the hospital and paying a quick police response that led to three arrests.
According to the Solt Lake City police, the officers heard footage on Saturday night as a large crowd of demonstrators gathered. A person was seriously injured in the shooting and rushed to a nearby hospital.

The suspect, who was walking with the crowd before the outbreak of violence, was also injured in a shot and was detained after the officers were followed. He is still in the hospital.
Two others were arrested regarding the accident. Investigators are still working to determine what led to fire, and whether there is any prior link between the suspect and the victim, and if the attack has political motives.

Nearly 10,000 protesters had walked from Pioner Park to the Federal Building as part of the “No Kings” movement in the country, defending the rights of migrants, and responding to what they called democracy under President Trump.
The protests coincided with a military procession in Washington, DC, representing the 250th birthday of the US Army – and Trump 79.
