Two services were killed, and the third was in a “serious” state after the vehicle crashed near the American border in Novi Mexico, military officials said on Tuesday.
The collision is registered on the New Mexico 9 motorway on Mile Marker 115 near the Santa Teresa Border Patrol in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, NBC associated KTSM stepsTexas, reported.
The area is about 13 miles north of El Paso and neighboring to the border.
Joint Working Group The Southern Border stated in a statement that the collision took place around 8:50 in the morning
Details of the dead and injured, including their tasks, were not available. The southern border of the joint working group did not immediately answer the request for more information on Tuesday evening.
Service members were assigned to a workgroup, which this year is a consolidated military command on the border after the President Donald Trump inserted the defense budget for effort.
In March, the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered almost 3,000 active troops for ASASAS on the American-Mexico-border border as part of Trump’s effort to abolish immigration and drug traffic. Power include the elements of the Stryker Brigade Battle Team and the general aviation battalion of support, the Defense Department said.
Local authorities, including the Sheriff in the District Ana District, initially reported that three service members were taken to the Helicopter hospital, according to KTSM.
Pictures published by the station show parts of the vehicle from the pavement and down from falling.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, a joint workgroup announced.
